if I'm receiving skin renewal treatments?

• When receiving skin renewal treatments, your skin will require aid and certain nutrients in order to maximize the results.
• Quality skin care products will help reduce the signs of extrinsic aging, especially if used in conjunction with PPx Therapy.
• The products are specifically selected for you at the initial appointment based on your skin characteristics, and treatment expectations.
• The cleanser will gently clean any dirt or debris from the surface of the skin without abrading the skin.
• The toner removes debris and restores PH to the skin
• The moisturizer places moisture back into the skin, restoring PH balance and retaining the natural moisture level of the skin.
• When skin is healthy and moisturized it responds better to PPx Therapy treatments, allowing you to receive maximum benefit and retain your results longer.
• In addition, we may recommend certain types of physician formulated products with special ingredients for particular challenges.
• If the skin is dark, using 4% hydroquinone will suppress the melanin in skin allowing the technician to treat more effectively.
• If the skin exhibits a significant degree of abnormally pigmented areas, 4% hydroquinone will help control the production of melanocytes enhancing PPx Therapy results.
• Glycolic acids may also be added to enhance the exfoliation process, bringing the target chromophore to the surface while improving the skin texture.
